Hydrangea — “The Alchemy of Colour”

Where soil and soul meet — hydrangeas reveal beauty through transformation

Originating from Japan, hydrangeas have long been admired in both Eastern and Western cultures for their soft, cloud-like beauty and ability to complement almost any floral arrangement.

Symbol of Grace and Abundance  — Each globe shaped bloom is made up of dozens of tiny petals, symbolising heartfelt emotions, gratitude, and abundance making them a favourite for celebrations of love and appreciation.

DETAILS
All stems are cut to order by the grower, ensuring they arrive as fresh as possible. Choose a tall, narrow vase to give the smooth, hollow stems extra support.

Please note, if adding a vase to your delivery your items may arrive separately.

The stem is a 65cm tall stem (measurement approximate).

Your flowers will arrive beautifully presented. A vase is not included unless you have chosen to add one, or selected a curated flowers-and-vase gift set.

Where a vase is part of your order, it may arrive separately to ensure the utmost care in delivery.

Hydrangea Care Guide

Your hydrangeas have been freshly cut to order and carefully packed to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. To help them last beautifully, please follow these simple steps:

1. Preparation

Unwrap with care — hydrangea petals are delicate and bruise easily.
Trim each stem at a sharp angle (about 2 cm) using a clean, sharp knife.
Immediately place the stems into cool, fresh water to prevent air bubbles from blocking absorption.

2. Vase Care

Hydrangeas love water. Fill your vase generously — at least two-thirds full with fresh, cool water.
Add flower food if provided, and refresh the water every 1–2 days to keep blooms vibrant and long-lasting.

3. Placement

Keep your arrangement in a cool, shaded room, away from direct sunlight, heating, or draughts.
Hydrangeas are sensitive to heat and will thrive in a temperate environment.

4. Revival Tip

If blooms begin to wilt, submerge the entire flower head (and part of the stem) in cool water for 30 minutes. They often revive beautifully.
